Nola Mae Ceramics is owned by Kelly Beiermann, an Illinois born ceramicist based in Portland Oregon. She is best known for her functional work and as a ceramics instructor. Her work is inspired by the West Coast landscape & its vast personalities. Kellys work is designed for everyday use, as she strives to make objects that brighten collectors homes. Her work can be seen out of her studio, in North East Portland by appointment.
As an artist and instructor in the ceramics field Ive been well aware of the lack of diversity and inclusion within our industry. I believe that its urgent that we dismantle racism within our field. I would like to state that I only work with studios and shops who support BIPOC artists and share the same values.
